Panaji: The constant tired against selective politicians by Revolutionary Goans (RG) has raised questionmark over the way this NGO is heading and also funding for it.

After attacking Michael Lobo and Vishwajit Rane, the RG has focused its campaign against Curtorim MLA Reginaldo Lourenco.

The constant attack through social media and a video released by RG Chief Manoj Parab is making news. The questions are now asked over the funding of this NGO. Their stand of opposing certain developmental projects has also come under scanner.

There are also apprehensions that this NGO is funded by certain people staying outside the country, while their motive is not known.

RG Chief Parab when contacted refused to have accepted any foreign funding.

“As a registered society we have not taken foreign funding. Whatever funding, we received online and that too, we are not allowed to take foreign funding,” he said.

“Only Indian accounts are allowed. Even people from foreign they go through their families. We are not getting foreign funding. We are ready to show our accounts,” he added.

RG, which was active pre-corona time, was also questioned for its sudden disappearance from the scene during covid19 period.

“This group RG was completely exposed during lockdown period. They are trying to stay relevant by spreading hate,” a tweeter user Sahish Bhosle has posted.
