Panaji: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to visit Goa on March 7, BJP said today.
Speaking to reporters post party’s meeting , BJP President Vinay Tendulkar said that as per communication received, Prime Minister is likely to visit Goa on March 7.
“Four days backs we had got his message and according to that PM is likely to come on March 7,” Tendulkar said without elaborating in detail.
Party is gearing up for Lok Sabha polls due in April. Also State will witness three by elections in Mapusa, Shiroda and Mandrem assembly constituencies.
Responding to a question whether their former Shiroda MLA Mahadev Naik entry into Congress will have impact on party’s political prospect in that constituency, Tendulkar replied in negative. ” There wont be any impact as our workers are intact,” he said.
