Panaji: The war of words between Congress and BJP was fuelled further with the latter calling former’s spokesman Yatish Naik as ‘childish.’
BJP in a press note released also challenged Yatish to “win at least panchayat elections before commenting on BJP MP who have a track record of winning four times in the parliamentary polls.”
BJP spokesman Dattaprasad Naik has said that the “paper tiger” like Yatish has no credentials to comment on the personality like Shripad Naik who has won Parliamentary poll four times.
“Yatish should at least win in panchayat election before commenting on such a tall personality. Goans have special position in their heart for Shripad Naik,” he said.
Dattaprasad has said that Congress has become frustrated after failing to form the government in Goa and hence is indulging into such reckless statements. “Congress should first introspect and also should decide who should be their chief ministerial candidate,” he taunted.
Dattaprasad recalled that the vices like Casino, illegalities in the mining sector are the gifts of Congress to the state.
