Porvorim: Independent MLA Rohan Khaunte has said that his voice on behalf of Goans is hitting the right spots as BJP has started targeting innocent people close to him.
Without naming BJP or State government, Khaunte tweeted “it seems that my voice on behalf of Goans is hitting the right spots, affecting the high and mighty and so to slow me down, they are targeting innocent people close to me. Sometimes back they did the same to put me down by arresting me on false accusations.”
“Such acts have only strengthened my resolve and I stand by my friends and people close to me. Unlike others, I do not disown people close to me when in trouble because I keep relationships and politics separate,” he tweeted.
“I keep getting stronger with every effort to put down my voice because I have always raised my voice and no evil force on earth, however autocratic, can put down the voice of the people.”
