MLAs from Salcette speak one language in assembly, another outside: Vijai Sardesai

Margao: Goa Forward Party President Vijai Sardesai has come heavily on the legislators who have been changing their colours often on different platforms.

“The people’s representatives from Salcete speak one language in the Assembly and another language elsewhere, hence I have decided let everything happen in the assembly,” Sardesai said.

Sardesai said that was determined to have an eye-catching gate to Fatorda, work on which will probably start first.

The legislator added that the construction of the Fatorda Margao Bus Terminal and a new wholesale fish market are two other projects lined up in the constituency..

“I also want to have a state of art ITI building at the Multipurpose complex where there will be a football mini stadium besides a cricket ground,” he said.

Two building blocks will also be constructed with one at the Junta Quarters and the other at water supply department quarters..

Stating that he wants to have a massive monument to commemorate Opinion Poll at the Opinion Poll square that will incorporate the images of all the stalwarts are on display there at the moment, he said this project is being conceptualised at the moment.

Sardesai said that we have emerged from activism and today I have become a minister and hence it is time to display our administrative abilities.
