Panaji:Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar will return to Goa this week, a senior official from his office said today.
Parrikar has been in the USA since the March for the treatment for his pancreatic ailment.
“The Chief minister will arrive in the State this week. We are yet to finalise the exact date though,” a senior CMO official said.
He said that the CMO has been booking tickets for his return in regular flight. “CM would be arriving from the USA to Mumbai and then by another flight from there to Goa,” he said.
Parrikar in his absence has appointed three member Cabinet Advisory Committee (CAC) which has been advicing the State administration on governance. The committee includes Sudin Dhavalikar (MGP), Francis D’Souza (BJP) and Vijai Sardesai (Goa Forward Party).
