Panaji: Goa chief minister Pramod Sawant on Tuesday said that the state government will make arrangements to provide grocery and other necessary things at the doorstep of the people during the 21-day-lockdown period.
Sawant made this announcement after Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced complete lockdown of the country for next 21 days.
The chief minister urged people not to panic and move out of their homes as state government will make arrangements to provide grocery and other necessary items at their doorsteps.
Sawant said that the pharmacies and petrol pumps will remain open during the lockdown period.

It’s ok sir please clarify to us Prime Minister said and other state also folow a curfew rules as like 2 to 3 hours all daily needs shop open for people for purchase items but here no any shop open at today morning, sir actually we don’t have any idea about this huge lock down and we had not prepared for same now we have not daily needs as on date so please humble request to you for open daily needs all shops every day for only one to two hours actually we having little children’s and they needs a daily milk so that’s why we are requesting to you please open daily Needs shop all shop at every where in goa for 2 to 3 hours as per PM announcement and other state already following this criteria.
So please request to you.
