Ponda: Goa Forward Party on Tuesday announced that they have dissolved its Ponda Block after “some of the leaders and workers were involved in anti-party activities.”
GFP Joint Secretary Santoshkumar Sawant said that party President Vijai Sardesai has approved the dissolution.
“It has been observed by the leadership of Goa Forward Party that some of its local leaders and workers from Ponda are involved in anti party activities,” Sawant has said in a statement issued here.
“In view of the above, the Goa Forward Part’s working president (Kiran Kandolkar) has approved a proposal to dissolve the Goa Forward Party block committee of the Ponda constituency with immediate effect,” he said.
“A new block committee would be declared soon by the Goa Forward Party leadership,” he added.
