Margao: Goa Forward Party today expanded its State Executive and assigned various responsibilities to its State Executive members. Former minister Babush Monserratte and party leaders Durgadas Kamat and Dilip Prabhudesai have been nominated as Vice Presidents.

The new committee was declared under the Chairmanship of party President Vijai Sardesai. The committee will have a tenure of three years. Sardesai has continued to be the president of the party.

Former St Cruz legislator Babush Monserratte, Akbar Mulla and Durgadas Kamat are new faces in the rank of Vice Presidents which also includes  Trajano D’Mello and Renuka Da Silva.

Monserratte had joined the party on the eve of Panaji constituency by election which chief minister Manohar Parrikar had won. Kamat has been former officer on special duty to Water Resources Department minister Vinod Palyekar.

The crucial post of Vice President (Organisation) has been given to Dilip Prabhudesai, one of the founder member of the party.

Mohandas Lolienkar is General Secretary of the party while Prashant Naik has been nominated as General Secretary (Organisation). New party entrant Santosh Kumar Sawant who is being projected as next candidate from Mayem constituency has been appointed as Joint Secretary along with  Joao Nicolau Crasto.

The treasurer of the party is Suraj Lotlikar.

The other members includes two legislators Jayesh Salgaoncar and Vinoda Palyekar along with  Anthony Rodrigues, Victor Gonsalves, Farrel Furtado e Gracias, Damodar

Panandikar, Nolan Antao, Florence Tito Cardozo, Nissar Subedar, Rajmohan Shetye, Ramnath Bale, Sushant Ghodge.

The North district committee of the party will be headed by former St Cruz legislator Victor Gonsalves and South Goa would be Farrel Furtado e Gracias.

Trajano D’Mello is the Chief  Spokesperson.

Youth Forward Convener is Jayesh Salgaonkar

OBC Forward Convener is Vinoda Palyekar

ST/SC Forward Convener is  Florence Tito Cardozo

IT Cell Convener is Durgadas Kamat
