Panaji: Health Minister Vishwajit Rane today said that Goa Medical College and Hospital (GMC) will make performance guarantee certificate mandatory from the companies that will be bid for supply of medicines in the hospital, henceforth.
Following a review meeting with GMC authorities, Rane observed that companies that gets tender for supply of medicines fail to make them available within the stipulated time frame.
“I have called for the file. We have decided to blacklist the companies that fail to supply the medicines within the stipulated time period as per the tender,” he said.
“ GMC will seek for mandatory performance guarantee from the companies that will bid henceforth,” he added.
