Panaji: Goa Forward Party chief Vijai Sardesai on Monday filed a formal complaint with the Cyber Crime Cell about hacking of his official Facebook page.
Sardesai has said that “inappropriate messages are being posted from this page.”
After filing a complaint with the Cyber Crime cell, the former Deputy Chief minister took on to the social media informing about hacking of his official verified FB page.
“My verified Facebook page, ‘Vijai Sardesai’ has been hacked. I understand that inappropriate messages are being posted from this page. I apologise if you have received them,” he said.
Sardesai said that he has filed a police complaint with Cyber Crime Police Station and a FIR is also registered.
“I have also lodged complaint with the Facebook for them to take necessary and appropriate action,” he said.
He said that he no longer, has access to the page.
“Political non-achievers fear failures, are playing dirty, targeting our Social Media accounts and pages. Please bear with me,” he said.
Sardesai has contested the recently concluded election from his traditional Fatorda Assembly constituency on GFP ticket. His party has entered into pre-poll alliance with Congress in the state.
