Panaji: While the race for next election is getting hotter, the Facebook is abuzz with the post “Finally it is Babu Bandodkar” which has aroused curiosity.
What is interesting is that the post is by staunch BJP supporters who have just said “Finally it is Babu Bandodkar.”
Though the post does not mention that it is related to the chief minister’s race, the curiosity is all time high. The surname Bandodkar is shared with Goa’s first Chief minister.
Incidently, there are two legislators who are also known with their pet name ‘Babu’ in the current assembly. Leader of Opposition Chandrakant Kavlekar and Tourism Minister Manohar Ajgaonkar both are also known as Babu.
So, what’s this “Finally it is Babu Bandodkar” is not known, but surely it is trending on the Facebook for now.
