Panaji: ESG Vice Chairman Subhash Faldesai said that the body would “fully renovate” the multiplex which is currently leases to INOX.
Faldesai said that the structure would not be demolished, but instead extensive renovation would be taken up of the multiplex.
INOX Leisure Limited has won the bid for the project.
The multiplex would be closed for screening for next six months from March 2020 onwards.
ESG’s decision to tender work on 2004 built multiplex has evoked strong reaction from various section including Leader of Opposition Digambar Kamat who has questioned the work.
