Panaji: Total 339 people tested positive for COVID-19 infection in the state on Tuesday taking the tally to 12,333, health department said.
The official said that 298 patients were discharged from various facilities taking the number of such patients to 8356.
“Out of 3028 samples, 2156 were negative, 339 positive while 533 reports are awaited,” the official said.
A 57-year-old man, a 75-year-old man, a 72-year-old man, a 57-year-old man and a 66-year-old woman succumbed to the infection during the day.
