Panaji Goa reported a new case of COVID-19 infection taking the tally of active patients to 39, a senior health official said.
Goa Health Secretary Nila Mohanan on Saturday said that one more patient has tested positive for COVID-19 infection in the state.
“The patient who has been tested positive travelled by road into Goa from Maharashtra. He is currently admitted at ESI hospital and his condition is stable,” Mohanan said.
The total number of active cases who tested positive has touched 39, she said adding that till date 55 persons were tested positive of which 16 have been discharged.
Goa has tested 11,945 samples as on Saturday, she said adding that 610 samples were drawn today alone.
Goa’s COVID-19 figures are as follows: Positive cases: 55; new cases: one; deaths: zero; discharged:16, active cases 39, people tested so far: 11945.
