Panaji: Total 342 people tested positive for COVID-19 infection in the state on Wednesday taking the tally to 12,675, health department said.
The official said that 357 patients were discharged from various facilities taking the number of such patients to 8713.
“Out of 2957 samples tested, 2022 were negative, 342 positive while 593 reports are awaited,” the official said.
A 62-year-old man, a 52-year-old man, a 74-year-old man , a 68-year-old woman, a 81-year-old man, an Unknown man, a 62-year-old man, a 71-year-old man succumbed to the infection during the day.
