Margao: In what can expose the corruption in Sports department led by Manohar Ajgaonkar, the tin sheets of Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium were seen flying and fell dangerously on the busy street at Fatorda.
Eye-witnesses revealed that some of the cars were saved from getting hit by these tin sheets which were seen flying in the air during Sunday morning.
The instance has exposed corruption within the Sports department which had tendered this work allowing contractor to do the shoddy work.
Several tin sheets flying in the air could have been dangerous for human lives as there is a busy street running next to the stadium.
Sports minister Manohar Ajgaonkar who is currently drawing flak due to National Games issue will have to answer more questions now with this incident.
