Cong accuses RG of contesting LS polls to divide votes

Panaji: Congress party on Saturday accused Revolutionary Goans party of contesting the upcoming Lok Sabha polls to “divide the votes.”
Congress General Secretary Vijay Bhike, addressing a press conference on Saturday, said that the RG is contesting upcoming Lok Sabha election to divide votes and help the Bharatiya Janata Party.
Bhike questioned silence of RG Chief Manoj Parab over suspension of mining activities and sufferings of the people dependent on it. The congress leader also alleged that “politicians in power” run benami transport companies.
He also questioned why RG failed to launch their padayatra over Mhadei issue.
Speaking about the BJP, Bhike said that the people should question the saffron party on inflation, resumption of mining, status of land grabbing cases and promise to provide free cylinders
