Panaji: After the arrival of chief minister Manohar Parrikar, Chief Secretary Dharmendra Sharma has moved a file for cancellation of Cabinet Advisory Committee.
The file was moved this morning to the chief minister.
Agriculture minister Vijai Sardesai said that the file for cancellation of CAC was moved by the chief secretary in the morning. “With the arrival of chief minister, there is a full cabinet in the state,” he said.
Sardesai, a member of CAC, briefed the CM about issues that had cropped up during his absence. Speaking about the frequent power failures, CM told Sardesai that he would be getting the briefing from government officials and work on the solution for it.
CM would be holding cabinet meeting on Monday during which other issues are going to crop up.
