Panaji : National Students’ Union of India in association with North Goa District Blood Bank has organised Blood Donation Camp on 10th May 2021 from 9 AM to 1 PM at Bodgeshwar Temple Hall, Mapusa-Goa.
NSUI has requested youth and persons between 18-45 years to donate blood. “We have a moral responsibility to donate blood” said North Goa President of NSUI Naushad Chowdhari.
“Next month the government is planning to give COVID19 vaccine to people between the age group of 18-45 years, once a person is vaccinated he/she cannot donate blood for a few months. Hence, if many people take vaccination there is a likelihood of acute shortage of blood therefore we have urged people to donate blood before taking the vaccine” added Chowdhari.
