Calangute: A man from Andhra Pradesh was ki*lled in a drunken brawl at a beach shack in Calangute last night. Ravi Teja (30) died on the spot after being struck on the head with a wooden stick by one of the shack workers.
According to a senior police officer, the incident occurred after midnight when a group of intoxicated tourists demanded food from the shack, despite the owner informing them that the kitchen was closed. When they were refused, one of the tourists began using abusive language towards a woman working at the shack, which escalated into a scuffle.
Kamal Sonar, a 23-year-old worker from Nepal, has been arrested by Calangute police. Authorities are also searching for two other individuals, including the shack owner.
