Amit Shah in Goa on May 13 but Parrikar will still be in the USA

Panaji: BJP National President Amit Shah would be arriving in Goa on May 13, a day after the scheduled polls for Karnataka Legislative Assembly and a dab before party’s national executive, a senior party functionary said today.

BJP Goa Unit President Vinay Tendulkar said that Shah be addressing a meeting of the booth level workers near Panaji on May 13 at Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Stadium.

“The meeting would be attended by around 12,000 booth level workers who have been working across the State for the party,” Tendulkar said.

The BJP leader said that Shah’s visit attains significance as he is coming a day after Karnataka assembly polls and a day before the party’s national executive scheduled to be held in Delhi on May 14.

Tendulkar said that Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar who is currently taking treatment in the USA will not be present for the meeting but the entire event is held under his guidance.
