Panaji: Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education on Tuesday announced results for Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination in which 92.69 per cent of the students who had appeared for the examination passed.
GBSHSE Chairman Ramakrishna Samant told a press conference that 92.08 per cent boys and 93.27 per cent girls who had appeared for the examination passed, totaling the passing percentage to 92.69 per cent.
Samant said that 118 schools in the state secured hundred percent results which includes 35 government run and 83 aided schools.
The SSC examination was held in the state from May 21 to June 06, 2020 in which 18939 students had appeared. PTI RPS
