Margao: Akhil Gomantakiya Daivadnya Brahmin Youth Association (AGDBYA) is organizing its 7th edition of Daivadnya Cricket Cup 2025 on 1st and 2nd March 2025 at S.A.G Cricket Ground, Fatorda.
A total of 14 teams from all over Goa will be participating in this tournament, including 2 women’s teams.
The jersey launch for the event was held on Saturday, 22nd February 2025, at 5 PM at Hotel Cosmique, Margao Railway Station Rd., Calconda, Margao.
The function was held in the presence of the main sponsors: Swaroop V. S. Raikar Jewellers – Margao, Lotlikars Jewellers – Mapusa, Sanvi Jewels – Margao, Ramakant Jewellers – Margao, Atreya Gold & Diamonds by Jayesh Jewellers – Bicholim, M/s. Saishradha Construction – Verem, Mr. Audumbar E. Pingulkar, and Hotel Cosmique, Margao. Also present at the function were representatives of each team (14 teams in total), the Managing Committee, members of AGDBYA, and the media.
Mrs. Seema Vernekar, President of AGDBYA, welcomed the guests and spoke about the association’s 15-year milestone and its various activities and social service initiatives, including the Career Guidance Programme, Health Check-up Camp, Book Distribution to the needy, Children’s Day Programme, and more.
The unveiling of the jerseys and caps for the tournament was done by the sponsors. Additionally, the trophies were unveiled by Mr. Sahil Lotliker, Secretary of AGDBYA, and Mr. Rahul Lotliker, Treasurer of AGDBYA.
Mr. Pranay Vernekar compered the programme, and Mr. Sahil Lotliker, Secretary of AGDBYA, concluded the event with a vote of thanks.
