Panaji: Goa Forward Party Chief Vijai Sardesai has said that the act of Union Minister Prakash Javadekar to nullify his earlier letter of keeping communication on Mahadayi in abeyance was “distressing.”
“This is highly distressing. All of us #Goemkars were one voice and one mind in rallying for the interests of Goa on #Mhadei. This letter tells us what was told to us may not be the truth at all. This is disturbing. What’s happening? We’ve a right to know. NOW!,” Sardesai tweeted.
In yet another tweet, GFP said “WHO HAS LIED TO US GOEMKARS? Is it @PrakashJavdekar or you Mr Chief Minister @DrPramodPSawant? What was kept in abeyance? What’s the victory you told us about? This is an unequivocal clearance to Karnataka for the Kalsa project. What’s going on behind our backs?”
