Margao: Shiv Sena’s Goa Vice President Rakhi Prabhudesai Naik filed her nomination as party’s candidate from South Goa Parliamentary seat today.
Naik accompanied by several Shiv Sainiks filed her nomination at South Goa.
Prabhudesai has been vocal about various issues related to the State.
Talking to reporters, Naik said that Shiv Sena has sizeable votes in the constituency which will ensure her victory.
She said that the voters are disillusioned with parties like BJP and Congress and are now looking at fresh and younger face to represent them in Delhi.
“The MPs in the past have failed to represent Goa in real sense in Delhi. I would be doing it, once elected,” she said.
