Panaji: Goa’s capital city of Panaji recorded second highest temparature in last ten years on Thursday.
As per the bulletin issued by Indian Meteorological Department, Panaji recorded a maximum temperature of 38.2 degree Celsius on Thursday.
The department has said that this is second highest at Panaji in last 10 years after 38.7°C recorded on March 06, 2013.
IMD has said that between 1969 to 2023 there have been 14 days when the maximum temparature at Panaji was 38 Degree Celsius or higher.
“The Highest ever maximum temperature at Panaji was 39.8 degree Celsius on April 07, 1989,” the department said.
