Panaji: The Indian Meteorological Department has forecasted heavy to very heavy rainfall till July 4 in Goa, as the coastal state continued receiving showers on the weekend.
The press bulletin issued by the IMD on Friday evening mentions that heavy to very heavy rainfall very likely to at few places till July 4.
The department has forecasted squally wind speed reaching 45-55 kmph guesting to 65 kmph along and off the coastal. The fishermen are adviced not to venture in the sea.
The capital city of Panaji is currently witnessing 27.7 degree temperature.
As per the IMD, the highest season rains were recorded in Margao town of South Goa which received 792.2 mm of rains since June 01, 2023.
