Panaji: Goa’s coronavirus caseload went up by 89 and reached 56,006 on Monday , a health department official said.

The death toll touched 807 as one  of the patients succumbed to the infection during the day, he said.

The number of recovered patients in the state rose to 54,424 with 62 of them getting discharged on Monday. The number of active cases is now 775, the official said.

“With 1,354 new tests, the total number of tests conducted in the state has gone up to 5,15,663,” he added.
