Panaji: Union Ministry for Human Resource Development (HRD) Prakash Javadekar today announced allocation of Rs 15.20 crores to Goa under ‘Samagra Shiksha’ for the year 2018-19.
For the financial year 2017-18, a fund of Rs 13.66 crores were released to the State.
“An allocation of Rs 15.20 crore has been made for Goa in 2018-19 for Samagra Shiksha as compared to Rs 13.66 crore allocated or released to the State in 2017-18 for SSA, RMSA and TE together. More to come,” Minister tweeted.
The scheme called “Samagra Shiksha” is integration of three components -Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) and Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA) and Teacher Training into which school education was divided earlier.
