Panaji: Independent MLA Rohan Khaunte on Thursday said that the Budget presented by CM Pramod Sawant will push the state into deeper financial crisis.
Khaunte said that while good economics calls for an austerity Budget to counter the economic slowdown, this Budget, which is drafted keeping in mind the upcoming Elections, will push the state into “deeper financial crisis.”
The MLA said that the Budget only aims at wooing the voters at the cost of state exchequer.
