Panaji: State Health Minister Vishwajit Rane on Monday said that wearing masks would be made compulsory in public places in Goa soon.
Goa has reported seven positive cases for COVID-19, of which five have been recovered,while two are undergoing treatment at the designated hospital in South Goa.
On Monday evening, Rane tweeted “Wearing masks in open spaces will be made mandatory in the state, a request to this effect has been move to the CM. This will further strengthen our fight against #COVID-19.”
