Panaji : In view of the visit of Vice President of India Venkaiah Naidu, to the state of from 9 January to 16 January, the public have been asked by the traffic Police not to park their vehicles along the VVIP route from INS Hansa Museum Gate to Raj Bhavan via Bogmalo Road. Similarly the VVIP route will continue from Bogmalo Junction – Airport Junction – Chicalim Crcle – Chicalim Panchayat – Cortalim Junction – Agacaim Junction- Siridao – GMC Bmbolim – Merces Circle – KTC – Divja Circle – D.B.B. Marg – Miramar Circle – Jack Sequeira Road – NIO Circle – Raj Bhavan Road where public are requested to not park their vehicles. Similarly on 9 January and 12 January no vehicle should be parked along the VVIP route from Raj Bhavan to O’Coqueiro Circle vio NIO circle- Hero Honda Circle – NH 66 – Jevottam Muth, Porvorim.
The Press note also informed that to facilitate the smooth passage of VVIP Carcade, traffic will be stopped at various points well in advance from security point of view. The public are requested to co-operate for the same. Any vehicle found abandoned on the road during the VVIP movement will be towed away.
