Panaji: Congress leader Amarnath Panajikar and his family, who had tested positive of Covid-19 infection, casted their votes donning Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) kits for the Zilla panchayat elections on Saturday.
Panajikar and his family voted during the special hours, specially for Covid-19 patients in Aldona.
Taking to twitter, Leader of Opposition Digambar Kamat lauded the family and wrote “Proud of Panjikar Family of Aldona who are all set to perform their duty to strengthen the democracy. @AmarnathAldona @INCGoa #ZPElections2020 #CovidPositiveVoters.”
