Panaji: Slamming the government over the tourism policy, Goa Forward Party (GFP) chief Vijai Sardesai termed the drafted policy as ‘copy-paste’ by ‘consultants’.
Sardesai alleged that the government has drafted the policy without consulting stakeholders and have sidelined Goan entrepreneurs.

“Goa now has #TourismPolicy Of/For and by Consultants without consulting stakeholders! How will dis corrupt dispensation choose a realistic policy where government only provides roads, water, electricity and cleanliness leaving rest to Goan entrepreneurs? They won’t get cuts from consultants,” Sardesai tweeted.
“Goa’s unique tourism ecosystem and offering requires careful planning and consideration which involves engaging and listening to our key stakeholders. Dr Pramod P Sawant supported consultants are only applying a copy-paste policy & are eliminating talented Goan entrepreneurs,” he added.
