Porvorim: Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar allayed apprehensions about the newly introduced Transfer of Developmental Rights (TDR).
“TDR is not deployable anywhere or everywhere. It is for specified area like that of Patto in Panaji. It cannot be used anywhere,” he told the House.
“In Regional Plan we will specify the places like Patto or kadamba plateau. It can be used only in designated area,” he said.
“But for educational institute special conversion of orchard land can be done. There are various institute which has approached the government on various occasions,” he said.
“TDR will be used only in designated areas of Regional Plan,” he said.
