Panaji: Chief minister Manohar Parrikar today said that strength given by people of the state and from across country helped him face the trying times.
Parrikar returned to Goa last month after undergoing three month long treatment for his pancreatic ailment in the USA.
Responding to a question during the inauguration of Goa IT Day today on he going through trying times, Parrikar said “I am very optimistic person. I am not pessimistic. If I decide something then I have a strong will.”
“And most important is the strength given to me by people of the state and across India,” he said.
Parrikar said there were so many get well soon wishes, probably people must have prayed in so many places. “That is also a strength,” he added.
