Panaji: Aam Aadmi Party National Convener Arvind Kejriwal on Monday adviced Congress leader P Chidambaram to “stop crying.”
“Sir, Rona Band Kijiye, Hay re, mar gaye re, hamare vote kat diye re (Please stop crying) Goans will vote where they see hope. Cong is hope for BJP, not Goans. 15 out of 17 MLAs switched to BJP. Cong guarantee every vote to Cong will be safely delievered to BJP. To vote BJP , route thro Cong for safe delivery,” Kejriwal tweeted, hours after Chdiambaram termed AAP as a vote cutter in Goa polls.
Earlier on Monday morning, Chidambaram had said “My assessment that the AAP (and the TMC) will only fracture the non-BJP vote in Goa has been confirmed by Mr Arvind Kejriwal. The contest in Goa is between Congress and BJP,” he said.
“Those who want a regime change (after 10 years of misrule) will vote for the Congress. Those who want the regime to continue will vote for the BJP,” Chidambaram said in a series of tweets.
The choice before the voter in Goa is stark and clear, he said. Do you want a regime change or not, the Congress leader asked.
Congress is contesting upcoming Goa polls in an alliance with Goa Forward Party while AAP has not forged any pre-poll tie up.
Kejriwal had said , if required, his party would go for post poll alliance with non-BJP political outfits in case of fractured mandate.
Till Congress is in Goa, BJP will be in Goa. To remove BJP from Goa then Goans must first need to remove Congress from Goa. Congress Voters voted Congress and gave 17 MLAs to Goa. Today there are only 2 Congress MLAs left with the Congress Voters in Goa. Others all went in BJP. Feeling very SAD for Congress Voters. Now Congress Voters has very nice honest alternative Party in Goa and they should vote to this Honest Aam Aadmi Party in coming all elections in Goa.
