Panaji:Speaker of Goa Legislative assembly Ramesh Tawadkar on Monday urged the members to contribute for the Shram Dham project, which envisages construction of houses for the needy family.
During the ongoing monsoon session on Monday, Tawadkar informed the House that he along with MLA Ganesh Gaonkar had recently visited a house of a poor family which collapsed due to rains in Sanvordem assembly constituency.
“We have decided to construct the said house under Shram Dham concept. I appeal all the members to contribute for the project,” he said.
