Panaji: Mormugao MLA Sankalp Amonkar said that there seems to be a major irregularities in the Ariel Bunch Cabling project in Electricity Department amounting to a whopping of around Rs.145 crore.
Speaking during demands of grants for Power department, Amonkar said “We/People need to know the the status of this project and who all were involved, the then Minister, the Secretary, the Engineers, Contractor, etc.”
“What is the total length of cable proposed in the tender, how much line is actually put and charged, etc. We demand a thorough inquiry on this, possibly a vigilance inquiry or CBI inquiry as it has cost crores of rupees loss to the state exchequer,” he added,
