Panaji – The education sector is doing a great job of creating a cultured generation dedicated to social service and nation building, said the Minister of State for Defense Shri. Shripad Naik today.
After releasing a souvenir of Vidya Sankul and Vidya Vardhini Primary School from Tuyem , Pernem, Shri. Naik was talking in a function held at his residence at Sao – Pedro, Ribandar. The souvenir was released to commemorate glorious ten years of the school.
Shri Naik praised the Directors, the teachers and the founders of Vidya Sankul and Vidya Vardhini Primary School for their dedicated efforts. The school started ten years ago with just ten students. It was a great pleasure to visit this school after five years on the occasion of gathering organized by the school. It was nice to see school is having more than 100 students, Shri. Naik further said.
In the beginning, the Headmistress of the school Mrs. Supriya Shetty welcomed the gethring and gave a brief overview of the work of the school. CEO Zilla Panchayat Shri. Sanjeev Gadkar, Director of Vidya Sankul Smt. Sandhya Palayekar , Teacher Ranjita Nagvekar, Members of Parent Teachers Association Rani Nagvekar, Shilpa Bhaidkar and Shri. Rama Nagvekar were also present on the occasion.
