Valpoi: The protestors against IIT at Melaulim in Sattari have feared that they would be arrested on Tuesday for which a strong posse of police force is scheduled to be sent to their village.
In a video message released on Monday night, the villagers have appealed people across the state to join them at Murmune village on Tuesday. The video is shot outside Jalmi Temple in Melaulim.
The locals are protesting against the proposed IIT in their village.
One of the local said that more than 500 policemen would be sent to their village to arrest them so that can be shifted out from there and land survey formalities are completed.
