Panaji: South Goa Planning and Development Authority (SGPDA) has written a letter to Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) asking them to conduct regular check on all the consumable items in their market at Margao.
SGPDA Chairperson Renuka Da Silva has written a letter today asking the FDA to conduct such regular checks as health of the people is of utmost importance.
She has said that the checks should also be conducted on chicken, mutton, vegetables and fruits to make sure that there is no chemical used on them and they are safe for human consumption.
