One dead in hit and run case at Dhargal. Pernem Police investigating. Pernem Police have registered an offence vide Pernem PS FIR No. 38/2024 U/s 279,304-A IPC and sec 134(a)(b) of MV. Act upon wherein Unknown accused driver of unknown vehicle, gave dash to the Yamaha Fascino scooter bearing registration no.GA-11-F-3368 which was also proceeding in same direction as a result the rider of the Fascino scooter namely Mr Devidas S/o Chandrakant Konadkar, age 55 yrs, near Maruti temple, Dadachiwadi, Dhargal, Pernem, Goa sustained injuries and further succumbed to his injuries while being taken to hospital.
The driver of the said unknown vehicle fled away from the accident spot with his vehicle without intimating about the accident to Police and did not referred the injured victim for Medical treatment.
Further different teams have been formed by Pernem Police Station to trace the accused persons and to detain the vehicles involved in the motor vehicle accident.
