Panaji: The NSUI Goa today along with BALLB first year students protested at Goa University and met the Vice Chancellor of Goa University demanding to accommodate them by increasing class divisions in law colleges since they are already selected in entrance exam conducted on 8th June 2023.
It may be noted that NSUI Goa exposed the principal of kare law college for doing manipulation’s in the examinations process of BALLB and demanded a thorough investigation into it by Goa University.
GU initiated the enquiry into the same and the principal was found guilty and GU decided to re conduct the entrance exam.
NSUI Goa Chief Naushad Chaudhari has said that it was found in the enquiry that principal changed the examination pattern, made students to answer the exam paper with pencil and he also went to the extend to manipulate the answer sheets of the students just to accommodate his son to get admission.
“Due to re conduct of examinations selected students will have to re answer the exam again and try their luck due to this we NSUI Goa met the Vice Chancellor and suggested him to either just change the evaluation process to previous one where 50% weightage of marks given to 12th Board and 50% weightage of marks given to the entrance exam or accommodate the selected candidates by increasing the class divisions in both law colleges,” the NSUI said.
“The Vice Chancellor has assured assure us that he will do the same and accommodate students and pro students decision will be taken,” he said.
NSUI Goa demanded that the management of Kare Law college should immediately sack him as the principal and take a criminal action against him for putting the future of the students at risk .
