Non-BJP voters name being deleted from electoral roll in Mormugao, alleges Congress

Panaji : GPCC vice president Sankalp Amonkar alleged that some voters names who are non-BJP supporters are being deleted deliberately from the electoral roll of Mormugao Constiency for the upcoming Muncipal Council Election. He alleged that Counselors of the area are acting directly under the undue influence of BJP. “In what appears to be a politically motivated move the BJP persons are illegally deleting the voters’ name from the list,” Inferred Amonkar.
The vice president of GPCC also opined that more 800 new voters names are being deleted and that he is under the contact of authorities to bring these malpractices to their notice. “It is very unfortunate to see the bureaucrats acting under pressure of BJP,” concluded Amonkar.
