Margao: Goa Police on Saturday managed to trace an 18-year-old girl who had been missing from Satara in Maharashtra since Friday (yesterday) when she was traveling on a train towards Kerala.
A police spokesman said that the 18-year-old girl had gone missing from her native place of Manewadi in Satara, following which a formal complaint was lodged at the Satara Police Station.
Upon receiving the information about the girl, Goa Police, with the help of technical surveillance, traced her on Saturday at Margao Railway Station in South Goa.
She was traveling to Kerala with a person.
Police said that the family members of the girl were informed and arrived in Goa. The girl was given into the custody of the Satara Police Station, who later handed her over to her family.
