Margao: In the bylanes of Comba, for last two days, Manohar Mandrekar has been busy, day-and-night, giving shape to huge effigy of Ravan. This effigy would be taken to Multipurpose Ground at Borda, where it would be burnt on the eve of Dussehra.
In the land of Narakasurs, Manohar is an exception. He is an artist who has been creating huge effigy of Ravan. For last 20 years, he has been, annually, creating this effigy.
We met Manohar at his workshop in our Passay series to ackowledge his work.
