Panaji: Goa Police on Monday arrested a 34-year-old man for raping senior citizen under the pretext of showing her an property in an isolated forested area on the outskirt of Panaji.
Anil Tigga, a property dealer, was arrested by Agassaim police for raping a senior citizen by taking to the forested area under the pretext of showing a property, a senior police official said.
The accused has been arrested under section 375 of Indian Penal Code, he said, while further investigation is on.
