Panaji: Reacting to St Cruz firing incident, Goa Forward Party has said that the law and order machinery has totally collapsed.
GFP has also demanded full time Director General of Police, a post which is vacant after demise of Pranab Nanda.
GFP Vice President Durgadas Kamat tweeted “Law& order situation is totally collapsed in the state. Criminals are having free run in the state. We don’t even have full time @DGP_Goa. IGP Jaspal Singh should be appointed as a full time DGP. @DrPramodPSawant’s focus is fully on mines ministry and Iron Ore and not on Home Ministry.”
